ECO-TRONIC SPM is a connector system that was specially developed for use e.g. in refrigerators. ECO-TRONIC SPM is a panel mount application which can be inserted in the rear wall of a refrigerator. The cavity of this rear wall is filled with PU foam.. The panel mount application, which is contacted with cables, is inserted into the rear wall without any further manual work. No manual sealing is required for the panel mount application, saving valuable time and therefore reducing manufacturing costs. The molded seal prevents the PU foam from penetrating both inside the connector and through the opening in the panel mount wall. The seal has been verified under production conditions. In addition, a positive IP 67 test has been carried out.

ECO-TRONIC FB is a connector system that is suitable for classic FR4 printed circuit boards with a reduced PCB thickness of 1 mm. The requirements of various fields of application, in particular the automotive industry, were taken into account in the design layout. The performance profile makes this series particularly suitable for applications in the areas of LED lighting and display contacting. It is also suitable for applications such as contacting sensors and actuators.

The contact layout guarantees electrically and mechanically stable contacting between the contact and the wires with a cross section of 0.22 mm² and 0.35 mm². Protection against mismating by means of polarising elements and mechanical locks against contact damage when misplacing ensure the quality of the connection in handling and in the application. In addition, automatic processing of the connectors ensures high quality standards throughout the entire production process.
